Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop implement and monitor Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in line with UAE regulations and ADEK requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Municipality and ADEK safety standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments safety inspections and audits across the campus.
• Ensure all fire safety systems emergency exits alarms and evacuation procedures are fully functional and compliant.
• Organize and lead emergency drills (fire drills evacuation drills lockdown drills).
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation incident reports and compliance records.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct HSE induction and training sessions for staff and contractors.
• Coordinate with external authorities during inspections and ensure timely resolution of observations.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the school community.

Requirements :

• Bachelors Degree (QFE Level 7) in Health & Safety OR a Bachelors degree in another discipline with NEBOSH / IOSH certification
• Minimum 5 years experience in HSE specifically within a high-risk environment
• Proven experience in a school setting (essential)
• Strong knowledge of school health & safety systems policies risk assessments and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with ADEK and ADPHC compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
